"Papaya Leaf" - Botanical Art
Metal Prints are always a conversation piece. The lab uses high-heat technology to fuse your image into the eco-friendly, 100% post-consumer recycled ChromaLuxe aluminum surface for incredible visual depth and luminosity. Metal prints are available in High Gloss, Mid-Gloss, Satin, Sheer - Glossy and Sheer - Matte surfaces but I only use High Gloss.
Each image is individually produced upon ordering. The total production time for metal prints could take up to 15 business days.
Paper prints, as presentation and demand as grown, I only offer metal prints directly from the website and 7X10 traditional paper print. If you prefer traditional print no offer on the website please contact Oscar for pricing via text at 773-315-6842 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Oscar offers prints with a 3-inch white mat and the image sizes are 12X18, 20X30 and 28X42.
About the image:
Papaya Leaf is a limited edition of 250 images.
When I saw the papaya tree at Garfield Park Conservatory, it reminded me of my childhood when I would grab papaya, peel it, cut it into pieces then eat it. Sometimes we would blend it with vanilla ice cream, milk and cinnamon. While this is one of the images from July 2013, since I started concentrating on this series back in November 2012. It is a reflection of what I wanted to accomplish with the series as it reminds me of Puerto Rico and my childhood.
