Farm Land #4 is a limited edition of 250 images.
I had been trying to capture the concept of a palm tree on a foggy morning that feels like being in the middle of a snowstorm, with a cow at the bottom it makes one wonder if the cow should even be there. The idea of juxtaposing elements that don’t quite belong together creates a sense of surrealism, that I hope makes the viewer pause and think. This is one of the images I have envisioned and am seeking to capture. Most of my concepts come from reading, watching documentaries, and using
My imagination. I find the challenge of bringing these concepts to life in photography to be particularly engaging.
