About the image:

Pasture is a limited edition of 250 images. 

I spend my winters in Florida, which allows me to capture images that contrast with what I see in the Midwest. Sometimes I encounter heavy fog in the morning, even when away from any water body. This fog helps isolate a subject and allows me to play with negative space. I have captured an image of a cow and a tree in a vast pasture field, where you could only see one cow despite knowing there are more in the field.

The image ends up being a minimalistic and atmospheric scene.
